You can't go wrong.We stayed here for an overnight as we had an early flight. Dinner!? Who does that!? I would whole heartedly recommend staying at Drury Inn & Suites to ANYONE! What a truly great experience it was. The dinner includes chicken strips, penne, baked potatoes, 2 kinds of soup, nacho fixings, salad bar, and steamed hot dogs and buns, a soda fountain and even theater-style popcorn. But they also have something called "kickback" which gives each guest (of age at least) up to 3 drinks from their full service bar (everything but frozen drinks) and dinner. But they in fact have that and a full hot breakfast. We also wanted free breakfast and we expected a generic continental breakfast. It has an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and a spa which is what we wanted. We we're immediately impressed by the the look of the place and the atmosphere inside. The name conjures up negative connotations that almost caused us to pass it by.
We looked close to home and almost dismissed Drury Inn. My wife and I wanted to rent a motel/hotel room for our anniversary. One nice note - adjacent to Drury Inn & Suites at this location are at least two good breakfast locations that offer a quieter, less crowded morning meal opportunity. However, Drury Inn & Suites could do a better job of noting actual guests - group of young adults entered from parking lot to enjoy a free meal. Part of issue may have been NFL game scheduled that day. However, the morning serving area is lacking in sufficient seating plus area is congested. Staff was very attentive in ensuring food was restocked and tables were cleared. Breakfast was usual fare served at other hotels so nothing exceptional noted for food. Drury Inn & Suites does not have door hardware installed for 'quiet' close.
Awakened at 5 AM Saturday morning with adjacent room door slamming shut. Front desk clerk immediately assumed we were familiar with Drury Inn & Suites regarding meals and drinks. Call to front desk prompted the door to be buzzed open. Arrived late evening on Friday and found front doors locked. Both my wife and I decided that Drury Inn & Suites was nothing special based on multiple other hotel stays across USA.
Based on Trip Advisor highly rated reviews of Drury Inn & Suites decided to book a stay at a Drury Inn.
